GAULEY BRIDGE — The Town of Gauley Bridge will conduct its annual town cleanup April 20-24.
The service will be available for Gauley Bridge residents only. Pickups can be scheduled the week of April 13-17. Only those residents who schedule pickups will have their items collected.
Residents must call town hall (632-2505) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, April 13-17 to schedule a pickup.
Town officials also ask residents to not put out items prior to April 13. Any items put out after the last scheduled day of pickup will not be accepted.
The following rules apply:
- There will be only one scheduled pickup per household;
- All items must be accessible from the roadway;
- All items must be in one designated area; and
- Cleanup does not include the following: tires, paint, brush, household trash, treated lumber, appliances with coolant (refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.) and building materials.
