Janie Louise Bellamy

Janie Louise Bellamy, 61, of Montgomery, died March 7, 2014.

Services were March 10 at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel in Prosperity with Pastor Jeff Floyd officiating. Interment followed at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity.

Gary Allen Breeden

Gary Allen Breeden, 68, of London, died March 5, 2014.

Born Sept. 20, 1945, in Ward, he was the son of the late Clarence Delbert and Eva Marie Elswick Breeden.

Gary was a retired coal miner from Cannelton Coal Co. and a member of the UMWA.

He was member of the Hughes Creek Community Church and also coached little league football for the Cedar Grove Wildcats for many years.

Surviving: his wife of 50 years, Brenda Breeden; children, David Allen Breeden and his wife, Regina, of Diamond and Angela Marie Johnson and her husband, Darin, of Pond Gap; grandchildren, Andrew David Breeden, Kyle Anne Breeden and Brady Allen Johnson; sister, Betty Craigo of Witcher; and several nieces and nephews.

Service was March 9 at Hughes Creek Community Church with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.

Phyllis Jean (Underwood) Bounds

Phyllis Jean (Underwood) Bounds, 74, of Charleston, formerly of Dixie, died March 4, 2014, at CAMC-Memorial Division in Charleston.

Born June 19, 1939, in Ivydale, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Underwood and Grace (Elkins) Underwood. She also was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Monroe; granddaughter, Tuesday Monroe; and brothers, Larry and Tommy Lee Underwood.

She was a retired cook for Montgomery General Elderly Care.

Surviving: her daughter, Amanda Bounds and companion Patrick Smith of Charleston; brothers, Joe Underwood of Monrovia, Md., and Jerry Underwood of Dixie; and sister, Betty Brown of Ringgold, Ga.

Funeral service was March 8 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with Rev. Eddie Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Underwood Cemetery, Vaughan.
