Michael B. Baldwin

Michael B. Baldwin, 61, of St. Albans, formerly of Handley, died Oct. 19, 2009.

He was the son of the late Donald and Nellie Baldwin.

Surviving: his sister, Judy Simpson of Merriville, Ind.; brother, Charles “Shorty” Baldwin of Handley; and several children and grandchildren.

There will be no service or visitation.

Clara C. Cincinnati

Clara Criniti Cincinnati, 91, of Boomer, died Oct. 21, 2009.

Born Oct. 24, 1917, in Smithers, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Paterno Criniti. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sister, Concetta Mills; brothers, James and Frank Criniti; daughter-in-law, Patricia Cincinnati; and son-in-law, Clyde Vinyard.

Surviving: daughter, Mary Lou Vinyard of Boomer; son, John Cincinnati of Falling Waters; grandchildren, Fr. Anthony Cincinnati of Wheeling, Dr. Joseph Cincinnati and wife Mary Ann of Martinsburg, Anne Vinyard of Boomer, Janet Vinyard of Charleston, Pamila Castle of Martinsburg, and Penny Cincinnati of Oak Hill; sister, Mary Carelli and husband Guy of Charleston; brother, Ralph Criniti of Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Madison, Alexa, Dominique, Michael, Missy, Candi, Shawnea, and Christy; seven great-great-grandchildren with many beloved nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Mass of Christian burial was Oct. 24 at St Anthony Shrine in Boomer with her grandson, The Very Reverend Anthony Cincinnati, VE, as presider along with concelebrating clergy. The Most Reverend Michael J. Bransfield, bishop of Wheeling-Charleston, was in attendance.

The family requests that donations may be made in her memory to the Immaculate Conception/St. Anthony Capital Campaign, PO Box 65, Montgomery, WV.

Gloria Faye Jones

Gloria Faye Jones, 77, of Crab Orchard, died Oct. 20, 2009, at a local hospital.

Born Feb. 5, 1932, in Powellton, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Alderman and Thelma Tiny Hudnal Alderman. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Everette Jones; and brothers Lindy, Charles, James (J.W.), Isaac (Newkie) Alderman and Johnny (Tippy) Alderman and wife Suku.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker whose life consisted of her children and grandchildren. Her favorite flower was roses.

Surviving: sons, Harlen R. Jones and his wife, Joyce, of Millville, N.J., James P. Jones and his wife, Luise, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Donald W. Jones and his wife, Sherrie, of Denver, N.C.; daughters, Rose M. Harris and her husband, Dana, of Charlotte, N.C., and Drema F. Brown and her husband, Noel Jr., of Crab Orchard; grandchildren, Linda and Bill Edminister, Harlen and Melanie Jones Jr., James Jones II, Pricilla Jones, Tiffany Harris, Dana Harris Jr., Crystal and Carl Chittum, Jacob Jones, Misty and Chuckie Hall, Cassandra Kiblinger and special friend Kenny Grimsley, Chelsea Kiblingler and special friend Cory Cox, and Ariel Jones; great-grandchildren, Cody and Katie Edminister, Ava Adkins, and Destiny, Jena, Angel, Jasmin, Kaylee, Alissa, Brittany and Skylar Jones, Harleigh and Landon Hall, Rikki Sky Kiblinger and Hagen Harvey, and Draiden Cox; sisters, Emma Jean Newton, Shirley Accord, and Carolyn Miller; brothers Toddy, Teddy, Jerry and Lloyd Alderman; as well as many special brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Oct. 24 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Moore officiating. Burial followed in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
