Kimberly Kristine Blankenship

Kimberly Kristine Blankenship, 27, of Concord, N.C., died Oct. 13, 2010, at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill.

Born Oct. 25, 1982, in Ohio, she was the daughter of Royal Leon Blankenship of Chimney Corner and Kimberly Sue Blankenship of Kannapolis, N.C.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving, in addition to her parents: her children, Corey Shane Hartsell and Kaylei Briann Hartsell, both of Concord; brother, Joshua Leon Blankenship of Kannapolis, N.C.; fiancée, Charles Shane Hartsell of Concord, N.C.; and maternal grandparents, James and Kathleen Starcher of Belva.

Services will be held in North Carolina at a later date.

Arrangements by Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge.

Sarah Ann Capps

Sarah Ann Capps, 22, of Holiday, Fla., formerly of Montgomery, died Oct. 8, 2010.

Born Oct. 28, 1987, she was the daughter of Shirley Capps of Montgomery and John Lewis Hicks of Berlin, Md. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil Howard and Anna Scott Capps.

Surviving, in addition to her parents: her children, Sierrah Michelle Capps and Thomas James Patrick Capps; and several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Service was Oct. 16 at Boomer Baptist Church in Boomer with Rev. James Neeson officiating. Burial followed in Montgomery Memorial Park at London.

Jeremy Ernest Floyd

Jeremy Ernest Floyd, 34, of Cannelton, died Oct. 9, 2010, at home.

Born Oct. 1, 1976, in Montgomery, he was the son of Kenneth Larry Floyd and Daphne Markham. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Eugene Floyd, and sister, Deanna Floyd Nethery.

He was a maintenance employee for Atlas Railroad.

Jeremy was a loving husband and father.

Surviving, in addition to his parents: his wife, Tracy; son, Donovan; daughter, Jasmine; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Brown; grandmother, Elva Ruth White; brothers, Jason Floyd, Anthony Johnson, Larry Floyd and Clayton Smith; sisters, Stacy Metts, Tonya Wiggins, Kimberly Floyd, Shannon Floyd, Karlin Floyd and Regina Thomas; and several aunts and uncles.

Graveside services were Oct. 15 at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Glasgow. Burial followed immediately after the service.
