Tech squads fall to Campbellsville
March 1, 2010 — MONTGOMERY — Campbellsville University posted a sweep of the WVU Tech basketball teams Saturday.
The Campbellsville men topped the Golden Bears 76-55, while the Tech women battled Campbellsville but fell 60-49.
In the men’s contest, the Bears got 15 points from Nicholas Kjaerholt, 13 from Darryl Slack and 11 from Robby Marshall.
T.J. Bishop and Brett Crittenden scored 18 each for the visitors.
Shyla Jones recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Tech women in their loss.
Whitney Ballinger’s 25 points paced Campbellsville (30-1 overall, 15-0 in Mid-South).
Both Tech teams will play in the Mid-South Conference tournament this week in Frankfort, Ky.
