Justin Bradford scored two touchdowns and rushed for 80 yards as Matewan rolled past Friday at WVU Tech’s Martin Field.
Joel May carried five times for 109 yards and added a touchdown for the Tigers, while Cody Centers contributed two touchdowns.
For Valley, Matt Whiteside connected with Dillon Ganoe for a 60-yard scoring pass, and Keyshawn Payne registered a 7-yard TD run. Matt White provided a two-point conversion run.
Payne rushed 14 times for 81 yards.
Through the air, Whiteside was 4-of-12 for 85 yards and the score, and White was 2-of-4 for 32 yards.
Ganoe hauled in six aerials for 107 stripes.
Valley (0-1) visits Van at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
