In conjunction with the Southern Appalachian Labor School’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, a tribute concert featuring Ethel Caffie-Austin was held in honor of the slain civil rights leader. VISTA workers, SALS employees and the public also joined in a sing-along with Step By Step and the SALS Choir. Also during the program, a ceremony was held to honor those lives lost in the disaster in Haiti.
